Soles Of Passion founders Steven and Myla have created a nonprofit organization, the Freedom Assistance Foundation (FAF), in part to help victims of America’s foreclosure banksters. We call this FAF initiative the "FORECLOSURE ALERT FORCE". Through it, they hope to raise awareness with their music and lyrics, and raise money to help foreclosure victims, one family at a time.
AMERICA’S NEW HOMELESS
Homelessness used to be something that "happened to somebody else". People who were irresponsible, or shiftless, or who didn’t care. Then, in the 1980s, after the savings and loan bailout scandal, those institutions shifted away from the "It’s A Wonderful Life" community-based business model into profit-driven entities. Suddenly, Americans were three mortgage payments away from homelessness. That problem has become immeasurably worse, and grown to crisis proportions.
MORE THAN 8 MILLION AMERICANS HAVE LOST THEIR HOMES TO THE MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE "BANKSTERS."
Those who manage to renegotiate their mortgages are grateful enough just to be back in their homes, and not "make waves" about nearly losing their life’s investment. Just like fighting the bullies we knew when we were kids, or the legion of mobsters who took over America during "The Untouchables" era, we just want to be left alone.
